Overview

International co-operation is of growing significance in the promotion of security of supply. This trend is a natural consequence of the increasing international openness brought about by globalisation and cross-border business networks.

Finland’s active involvement in a number of multinational organisations has further increased the significance of successful international co-operation also in the field of security of supply. For these reasons, security of supply is promoted by means of several multilateral arrangements.
